Celeste grew up in Rutland Massachusetts until her teens when she and her family moved to Cape Cod.

 

Even as a young girl she was interested in painting.  When she entered high school and discovered art class her interest and talent bloomed.  Her  talent was most likely inherited. Her father is an accomplished artist as was her grandfather. It didn't take long for art class to become Celeste's favorite subject!

 

After finishing school she spent some time traveling, mostly in the southern states.  Celeste then married and returned to Cape Cod. 

 

Busy with her family consisting of, her husband, two young daughters, one cat, plus a part time job and working within her church, Celeste had little time to devote to her love of art.  In recent years as the children have grown, she has had more time to expand on her interest.  She took Decorative painting classes and painted for friends and family as well as her home all the while honing her skills.

 

Celeste says that her dream is to design and sell her work full time.. Step by step she is walking towards that dream!
