These are usually vintage items that I've found at flea markets, kind friends have given them to me, or, on occasion, I've found them beside the road with someone's trash! 

I take them home, scrape, sand and clean them.  By the time I've finished preparing a piece I have usually decided what should be painted on it. 

I can also take a some of your old furniture or metal trays and create a wonderful art piece. Transforming your "trash" to Magnificent Treasure complete with all the memories it holds for you and your family!

I paint with acrylics then apply several coats of varnish to protect this one of a kind treasure for many years.
